No-Tens
specific biodegradation of surfactant molecules
liquid
CHARACTERISTICS
NoTens is a product consisting of a mixture of cell cultures and viable spores of yeast-like bacteria and moulds, wild strains, selected and associated for their ability to cooperate in the degradation processes of all types of surfactants susceptible to biodegradation.
Applications
NoTens is used in activated sludge and biomass-added wastewater treatment plants to raise the population of microorganisms degrading surfactant molecules (even those that are difficult to biodegrade), so that adequate process performance can be achieved even in the case of surfactant peaks that may occasionally occur in wastewater treatment plants.
