Le manque de fer, m\u00eame \u00e0 des niveaux minimes, entra\u00eene un ralentissement du processus photosynth\u00e9tique et respiratoire de la plante, avec des cons\u00e9quences n\u00e9gatives sur la production agricole, tant en termes de quantit\u00e9 que de qualit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><strong>R\u00f4le biologique :<\/strong> Le fer est le constituant de la mol\u00e9cule de prot\u00e9ine cytochrome, il est impliqu\u00e9 dans la biosynth\u00e8se de la chlorophylle et des chloroplastes, il r\u00e9gule les m\u00e9canismes de croissance v\u00e9g\u00e9tative et participe \u00e0 de nombreux processus d'oxydo-r\u00e9duction photosynth\u00e9tiques et respiratoires.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sympt\u00f4mes :<\/strong> La carence se manifeste par une chlorose internervale typique (jaunissement) qui commence par les feuilles les plus jeunes de la plante. Si la carence en fer se poursuit, les feuilles les plus jeunes tendent \u00e0 se n\u00e9croser, tandis que les feuilles plus \u00e2g\u00e9es commencent \u00e9galement \u00e0 jaunir, avec les cons\u00e9quences suivantes : ralentissement de la croissance v\u00e9g\u00e9tative, chute des feuilles et souvent m\u00eame la mort de la plante elle-m\u00eame.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les causes :<\/strong> dans la plupart des cas, elles ne sont pas li\u00e9es \u00e0 la faible pr\u00e9sence de fer dans le sol, mais essentiellement \u00e0 la nature calcaire du sol : elle favorise la pr\u00e9sence de fortes concentrations d'ions bicarbonates qui provoquent une augmentation du pH du sol, rendant le fer insoluble et inutilisable par les plantes. Mais le pH \u00e9lev\u00e9 du sol n'est pas le seul facteur responsable de la chlorose ferrique : l'exc\u00e8s de fertilisation nitrique, les sols riches en phosphore, en aluminium et en m\u00e9taux lourds, la faible temp\u00e9rature du sol et le travail fr\u00e9quent du sol qui favorise l'oxydation de l'ion ferreux Fe2+ (forme absorbable par les plantes) en ion ferrique Fe3+ (insoluble) peuvent \u00e9galement aggraver le tableau symptomatique de la carence en fer.<\/p>\n<h3>Traitement de la chlorose ferrique<\/h3>\n<p class=\"ms-left-dashed\">La th\u00e9rapie implique principalement l'utilisation et l'administration de <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.msbiotech.net\/fr\/produits\/fer-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ch\u00e9lates de fer<\/a><\/strong>. Les ch\u00e9lates sont des compos\u00e9s organo-m\u00e9talliques \u00e0 structure mol\u00e9culaire en anneau, capables de capturer et d'incorporer l'ion ferreux (Fe2+) en leur sein, le rendant ainsi disponible pour les plantes, m\u00eame dans des conditions de pH alcalin. Ces compos\u00e9s sont solubles dans l'eau et directement absorbables par les racines et les feuilles.<br \/>\nIl existe des ch\u00e9lates synth\u00e9tiques et organiques, tels que les lignosulfonates ou les engrais ferreux ch\u00e9lat\u00e9s avec des acides amin\u00e9s et des peptides.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"ms-dashed-img alignright size-medium\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/prevenzione-della-clorosi-ferrica-della-vite.jpg\" alt=\"chlorose ferrique\" width=\"200\" height=\"auto\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Comme les plantes, certains micro-organismes naturels s\u00e9cr\u00e8tent des sid\u00e9rophores (Neilands 1995), des pigments hydrosolubles de faible poids mol\u00e9culaire capables de lier sp\u00e9cifiquement le fer trivalent (Fe3+) (Faraldo-G\u00f2mez et Sanson, 2003), facilitant ainsi le transport intracellulaire et l'assimilation du fer dans les plantes (Weller, 1988 ; Meldrum, 1999).
