CHARACTERISTICS
CHITO BIO is a natural elicitor of plant defences, based on entirely natural and perfectly water-soluble chitosan hydrochloride. It stimulates a plant's self-defence reaction against pathogenic fungi and bacteria. It improves seed germination power (seed treatments) and increases the plant's resistance to negative abiotic factors, such as heat and water stress.
Approval of the basic substance pursuant to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 563/2014 of 23 May 2014 (CAS 70694-72-3). Purity: European Pharmacopoeia, heavy metals ≤40 ppm. Intended uses: generally used in medicine, food, and cosmetics, however, uses as a Basic Substance with the function of inducing plant self-defence responses against pathogenic fungi and bacteria (elicitor with fungicidal and bactericidal effects) are authorised.

Doses and directions for use
DOSE and METHOD OF USE
Foliar application:
-Berries and small fruits, Vines, Trees, Vegetables, Cereals, Spices and Forage crops: apply 2-16 L/ha from the appearance of the first leaf up to fruit development, depending on the crop, for 4 to 8 applications with a minimum interval of 2 weeks.;
-Ornamental bulbous plants, Chard: Apply 2-16 L/ha from the appearance of the first leaf until the end of the cycle, depending on the crop, for a number of 1 to 8 applications with
a minimum interval of 5-7 days;
Seed treatment spray
- Cereals, Potato and Sugar Beet Apply before sowing 100-400 ml per 10 litres of water; Ornamental plant bulb immersion treatment – apply before planting 100-400 ml per 10 litres of water.
